On plants and their parts - Week #9 in response to student's interest

Hi Team,
Kessel came in with a really cool seed.  We were going to talk about environments and life finding their environmental niche related to said environment.  But with only one student we worked with said interests of the moment.

She brought in this seed, and we took it apart and examined it - proposed hypotheses, noticed the properties of materials.

Here are some images from the day -  the tadpoles.. still in a state of arrested development.

Kessel's images from the microscope and our exploration of the tree seed she brought in, and other leaves, seeds  - even this snail!
